Ok, since everyone else is doing one I might as well jump on the bandwagon. Here are my top 10 albums of 2006. Hopefully you will find a few surprises and would like to discuss, yes? They are in no particular order and are subject to change because I still have some more albums to buy before the year is over.

I really wish I could be a bigger fan of the new Thermals albums but it is just so freakin bleak and religious. I know that was the whole point of it but come on. I do love Pillar of Salt though.

Like I said before, Mates of State will be on my top ten for sure. I listened to the Dresden Dolls a few times and couldn't get into it. It seems creative but on some levels I'm bored.
